10″ x 3″ Dual Layer Linear Spider Pack with Leads Green Mesh

The 10″ x 3″ dual layer linear spider pack combines two layers of poly-cotton into a single suspension assembly. The dual-layer design provides increased suspension stiffness and support compared with a comparable single-layer spider. Spider requirements depend on moving mass, excursion, geometry, material, and operating conditions. However, different subwoofer designs require different suspension stiffness.

Our 10″ x 3″ spider pack combines resin-coated poly-cotton fabric with neon green mesh reinforcement. Additionally, four flat sewn leads provide connections for DVC voice coils.

The dual-layer laminated spider assembly provides a stiffer suspension assembly than a comparable single-layer spider. Material, resin treatment, corrugation geometry, and layer count all contribute to the mechanical behavior of the finished spider. This linear spider pack has a uniform corrugation pattern across the spider surface. However, actual suspension behavior depends on spider geometry, material, resin treatment, layer count, and the completed driver assembly.
