Two options are available to choose from these spider packs, three layer laminated with dual 6mm flat leads or four layer laminated with triple 6mm flat leads are available. 

In order to properly fix (build) a subwoofer you need to make sure you use the suitable glue. We recommend using our black rubber CA glue for gluing the spider to the frame and the voice coil to spider. When gluing spiders, rubber cement glue should never be used. For gluing surround lip to frame, surround to cone, dust caps and dressing leads. You will need to use our L3045 black rubber glue which is ideal for these applications and unlike CA glue which dries faster rubber cerement glue tales about 24 hours at room temperature to fully cure. You can also use CA glue to adhere the surround lip to frame but it’s more cost effect to use rubber cement glue. 

Now when it comes soldering a spider leads to a voice coil that has aluminum wire winding it’s very critical that a aluminum wire-specific soldering flux should be used. Our (Ultra Gold Flux) is made specific for this application.
