7.4″ x 2.5″ dual layer linear roll spider has a consistent roll or corrugation pattern throughout it’s entire surface. The corrugation shape is uniform, providing a consistent restoring force as the voice coil moves. Typically made from fabric impregnated with stiffening resin, the material choice and treatment affect flexibility and durability. This design offers a linear compliance characteristic, meaning the restoring force remains consistent across the entire range of motion.
