At Lord of Bass, we’re committed to providing top-tier customer service and guaranteed low prices. We’ll do our best to assist with any issues related to the products we stock.
Before placing an order, we strongly encourage you to carefully research the items you intend to purchase. This helps ensure compatibility and prevents unnecessary returns or delays.

Returns Within 14 Days
We accept returns on items that are brand new, unopened, and in original packaging within 14 days of your delivery date.

Returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Shipping fees are non-refundable, including any upgraded or expedited shipping selected at checkout.

In addition, order cancellations are also subject to a 15% restocking fee (see “Order Cancellations” below).
No Warranty on Drop-In Recone Kits or Soft Parts
We do not offer any warranty on drop-in recone kits or individual soft parts. These items are sold as-is, due to their nature as DIY components and their reliance on proper handling and installation.
This includes, but is not limited to:

Voice Coils – Please verify the impedance with a multimeter before installation or gluing. While we take great care in order accuracy, mistakes can occasionally happen. Therefore, we recommend confirming you received the correct impedance. Once a voice coil is installed, glued, or altered, it is considered used and cannot be returned or exchanged.

Spiders / dampers

Tinsel lead wires
-
Cones
-
Dust caps
-
Gaskets
-
Binding posts / terminals
-
Frames
-
Motors
-
Surrounds

Spacer adapters
As a result, due to the risk of damage during installation, these parts are non-returnable, non-refundable, and not covered under any warranty.
Customer Responsibility for Part Compatibility
It is the customer’s responsibility to confirm that all parts ordered are compatible with their intended use — whether for a repair, an upgrade, or a custom build.
Once parts are modified, glued, or installed, they are considered used and therefore not eligible for return or exchange under any circumstance.
Custom vs. Standard Recone Kits (Drop-In Kits)

Custom-made recone kits (also referred to as drop-in kits) that are built to customer specifications are final sale. No exceptions will be made for returns, refunds, or exchanges.

Standard recone kits (drop-in kits offered as regular stock items) may be returned only if they are unused, unmodified, and not glued or assembled in any way.
For this reason, we recommend inspecting all recone/drop-in kits before use. If any part shows signs of installation or damage, it is not eligible for return.
Adhesives and Liquid Products
Adhesives and other liquid-based products are non-refundable and considered final sale.
However, if the product arrives dried out or leaking, it may be returned for a replacement. In such cases, the product must be sent back for inspection before a replacement is issued.
Missing or Damaged Items
Only if an item arrives damaged or DOA (dead on arrival) must it be reported within 72 hours of delivery.
Otherwise, the item will not qualify for replacement, and your claim will not be accepted.
Return Shipping Responsibility
The customer is responsible for all shipping costs related to returns. This includes:

Return shipping to Lord of Bass

Original shipping fees (even if the order had “free shipping”)

Additionally, expedited shipping charges are not reimbursable
Order Cancellations
Once an order is placed, it is considered final.

If canceled before shipment, a 15% restocking fee will apply.

Alternatively, you may choose to apply the full value as store credit with no restocking fee, as long as the order has not shipped.
After shipment, cancellations are no longer possible and the standard return policy will apply.
Return Authorization Required
All returns and exchanges must have a valid Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.

Please note: returns sent without an RMA will be refused.
How to Return a Product

Clearly write the RMA number on the outside of the package.

Inspection & Return Conditions
All returned items will be inspected once received. If:

The product is in unused, original condition, we’ll issue a refund minus any applicable fees.

The product is found to be used, glued, modified, or fully functional, it will be returned at your expense, and no refund will be provided.
Ultimately, returns will only be processed if all conditions of this policy are fully met.
