Alpine Type-R 10″ Dual Layer Spider Pack

The Alpine Type-R dual layer spider pack (7″ x 2.58″) is designed specifically for the Alpine Type-R 10” subwoofer. This spider pack matches the factory suspension dimensions while providing the added strength, stability, and control of a dual-layer construction. By keeping the voice coil centered and stable in the magnetic gap, it reduces the risk of coil rub and improves long-term reliability in both daily and high-output setups.

Fitment Note: This spider pack is designed only for Alpine Type-R 10″ subwoofers that use a 2.58″ inner diameter voice coil. Some older generations of the Type-R 10″ use different coil and spider size, so please confirm measurements before ordering.

Direct Alpine Fitment

Unlike standard spiders that position dual voice coil leads 180° apart, this design follows the OEM Alpine Type-R layout with all four leads exiting on the same side. With a 7″ outside diameter and 2.58″ inside diameter, it provides a direct fit without modification, making it the right choice for recone kits, rebuilds, or suspension replacements.

Make sure you’re using the proper adhesive when attaching the spider to both the coil and the frame. The recommended option is CA glue, which we offer in several viscosities. Our most popular formula is the EC4000 CA glue, available either as a kit or as a standalone bottle.
