JL Audio 12W7 replacement cone designed specifically for 12W7 and 12W7AE subwoofers. It matches the original W7’s profile, dimensions, and excursion geometry, giving you a precise fit and restoring factory-level performance. This cone does not fit other JL models such as the W6, W3, or W0.

• Lightweight polypropylene cone → rigid and low mass for accurate bass response

• High-roll foam surround → long excursion with outward roll design that preserves cone area and maximizes output

• Reinforced bonding platform → built to work with JL-style voice coil collars, ensuring a secure, factory-style assembly

Installation Notes:

To install this cone, you’ll need a voice coil collar (sold separately). This collar bonds directly to the cone and voice coil and is required for proper alignment and long-term durability.

We recommend using rubber-toughened CA adhesives for all structural bonds:

• Rubber-toughened black CA glue (medium or thick) or rubber-toughened epoxy – For bonding:

  • The voice coil collar to the cone

  • The collar to the voice coil

  • The spider to the voice coil

• CA glue or epoxy – For bonding the spider to the frame 

• L3890 rubber glue – For bonding the dust cap to the cone
  (Flexible, durable, and ideal for center cap adhesion)

• CA glue accelerator (kicker) – Optional for faster curing of CA joints

Dust cap, spider, and voice coil are not included. We also carry a deep-dish W7-style dust cap designed to fit this cone perfectly.
