8″ x 3″ Progressive 2 Layer Spider Pack

8″ x 3″ progressive roll spider pack features a varying roll or corrugation pattern. Compliance increases, becoming stiffer, as displacement increases. The inner rolls are softer, while the outer rolls are stiffer. Made from Nomex fabric impregnated with stiffening resin, the design allows for variations in stiffness across the spider. This results in non-linear compliance, meaning the restoring force increases as the voice coil moves from its rest position.
