The AC1101 CA Glue Accelerator is a professional-grade, single-part surface activator designed to speed up the cure time of cyanoacrylate adhesives, including CA glue and super glue. In addition, it is fully compatible with all Lord of Bass CA glues, including thin, medium, thick, and rubber-toughened formulas.

Although thicker glues naturally take longer to cure, AC1101 helps reduce that time significantly. Therefore, it is ideal for time-sensitive applications and production environments.

Recommended Uses

Use AC1101 with black rubber-toughened CA, thick CA, and gel adhesives. It works well for voice coil collars, cone assemblies, spider bonding, and general recone or speaker repair work. It also performs well in cold garages, dry climates, and indoor hobby or shop environments.

How AC1101 CA Glue Accelerator Works

Cyanoacrylate adhesives cure by reacting with trace moisture in the air or on the bonding surface. However, thicker glues often cure more slowly, especially in cold or dry conditions.

AC1101 accelerates that reaction, which helps CA glues bond faster and more consistently. Unlike harsher activators that can increase brittleness or cause visible frosting, AC1101 cures at a slightly slower rate. As a result, it helps preserve bond appearance while still reducing cure time.

How to Use AC1101 CA Glue Accelerator

First, apply a thin, even layer of CA glue to one surface. Next, spray AC1101 Accelerator on the opposite surface or lightly over the glue line. Then press the parts together. Bonding usually begins within 3 to 8 seconds, depending on glue thickness, material, and environmental conditions.
