Ultra Gold Solder Flux is specifically designed for KA09 Tin-Zinc soldering of Aluminum to Aluminum, Aluminum to Copper, and Aluminum to Stainless Steel. Unlike ordinary fluxes, it is chloride-free, organic-based, and formulated with 56–60% active ingredients (amines and complex inorganic fluorides). As a result, it ensures reliable wetting, strong bond formation, and consistent joints in demanding aluminum soldering applications.

The flux activates effectively between 350–550°F (177–288°C). Therefore, it allows low-temperature soldering while protecting sensitive components. However, avoid overheating since Ultra Gold Flux will char above 550°F (288°C).

⚠️ Important: Soldering aluminum voice coils without a compatible flux is nearly impossible. We recommend using Ultra Gold Flux only with KA09 solder for the best results.

Residue remains slightly corrosive and electrically conductive, so we recommend cleaning with hot water or alcohol after soldering.
