VAE2100 Clear PVA Water-Based Adhesive is a polyvinyl acetate (PVA) formula designed specifically for loudspeaker assembly. It provides strong, flexible bonds across paper, cloth, foam, wood, and metal, making it ideal for both OEM manufacturing and detailed speaker repair work.

Engineered for efficiency, VAE2100 tacks up in just 5 minutes. As a result, you have time to adjust parts before the adhesive cures fully in 24 hours at room temperature. This water-based adhesive dries clear, leaving a professional finish that blends seamlessly into speaker assemblies.

Applications for VAE2100 Speaker Adhesive:

• Replacing or attaching foam surrounds (best for thinner surrounds; however, it is not recommended for high-wattage, high-excursion subwoofers with thick surrounds — use CA glue or L3045 Rubber Adhesive instead)

• Dampening cloth surrounds, which improves cone control

• Attaching paper dust caps to cones for clean, secure finishes

• Attaching gaskets to frames for a proper seal

• Repairing holes in paper cones, restoring functionality

• Bonding spiders to baskets for long-term durability

• Securing foam surrounds to baskets, ensuring a strong fit

Important Usage Notes:

• ❌ Do not use for voice coil to spider joints — instead, use CA glue or one of our epoxy adhesives (FLXEP860 or BEP870) for maximum strength.

• ❌ Do not use on rubber surrounds, Santoprene, or polypropylene. Instead, choose L3890 Rubber Adhesive for those materials.

• ⚠️ Best for thinner foam surrounds. However, for high-wattage subwoofers with thick surrounds and high excursion, always use L3890 Rubber Adhesive.
