In order to properly fix or build a subwoofer using the 15″ subwoofer cone 2″ VCID you need to make sure you use the proper glues. When gluing the cone to coil and spider to frame we recommend using our black rubber CA glue.  When gluing dust caps, surround lip and dressing leads you should use Our L3045 black rubber glue which is ideal for these applications and can be purchased in a few different size bottles. Before gluing anything to the subwoofer frame it is advised that you clean off the surround landing and the spider landing on the frame with a cloth towel using alcohol to avoid any issues of glue not properly adhering to the frame. Which could lead to serious damage of the soft parts.

Most important thing to note if planning on using a aluminum wire voice coil you must use a special soldering flux which is specifically made for soldering aluminum wire. We offer the soldering flux kit (Ultra Gold Flux) which comes with the proper solder. It is only required to use this flux on aluminum and CCA wire. It’s not required for copper wire.
